CAPG is the nation’s leading association of physician organizations practicing accountable, risk-based, coordinated care. This is the fifth year in which PPGRI’s national affiliated organization, Prospect Medical Group, has been awarded Elite Status from CAPG. Prospect Medical Group received Elite Status in three states – California, Rhode Island and Texas.
The CAPG Standards of Excellence Survey is recognized as the industry standard by which the nation’s healthcare systems can assess their ability to deliver accountable, value-based care and improve patient care coordination, which are at the forefront of ongoing healthcare reform. The survey assesses a variety of value measures, including access, care management processes, quality, efficiency and affordability, all of which relate to providing optimal patient experience and value to both patients and payers.
Working with local Medicare Advantage, commercial, Medicaid and exchange plans, PPGRI and the CharterCARE system are dedicated to demonstrating how coordinated care can benefit patients in Rhode Island in terms of better outcomes, better quality, and a better healthcare experience.
